This past Saturday hubby and I went hiking. We arrived at the trailhead parking lot at 7:45am, high in the Mt. Baker Wilderness … and it was chilly! I was so thankful I had brought along my lightweight rain jacket!
It’s amazing how a lightweight rain jacket can keep you warm in such situations … just enough to keep your body heat in, and that’s all you really need.
Warmth without weight.
A really great relationship is “warm” … without “weight.”
“Warm” in the sense that the relationship is warm and caring. Open, honest, and completely comfortable.
“Without weight” in the sense that there is no heaviness – no controlling; no demanding; no overbearing expectations. No hiding things. No judging and condemning. No criticizing behind your back to other people.
Warmth … without weight.
