God is all-knowing. Therefore, when God first created this beautiful world, He knew from the very beginning that humanity would make the choice to disobey and rebel against Him. God knew from the very beginning that humanity would reject His love.
It hurts when love is rejected!
Yet God loved us anyway!
God loved us so much that He would not leave us isolated and separated forever from His love by our rebellion and sin. God provided a way so that we could be restored once again into perfect relationship and love with Him.
“For God chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will.” – Ephesians 1:4-5
“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world … But because of His great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions – it is by grace you have been saved.” – Ephesians 2:1-5
