As Hubby and I were headed up to church yesterday morning, the sky came alive with the beauty and glory of God! The brilliant crimson sunrise reflected off the bottom of the low-lying marine layer of clouds. It was stunning! … as in a tiny little sliver to the east, the blazing sun made its appearance!
The Christmas song, “O Come! O Come! Emmanuel!” immediately popped into my head (except with these lyrics), which of course I right away texted to my kids.

This is the week leading up to Christmas. What a great way to start out the week! This is what Christmas is all about!
Thank you God for the blessing of gathering together with all who love and follow Jesus! … to sing praises to our great and mighty King Jesus! … who loved us so much that He came from Heaven to earth as a tiny baby.
