November joys … Glorious sunrises!

November joys … Glorious sunrises!

I was sitting here typing up yesterday’s blog post, when I noticed the darkness of the early-morning sky beginning to turn gorgeous crimson and orange and purple!

I had the fleeting notion of getting my coat on and walking out to the end of the road to watch the sunrise.    But it was 38* outside … and I was way too cozy for such an endeavor.

A few moments later, my daughter texted me a photo of the sunrise from her place  …  as she was getting ready to head off to work for the day.    It was unbelievably beautiful!

I was inspired!   So I pulled on my coat and went outside for a photo to send to my daughter.

Her photo wins hands down!

It brings me so much joy to swap sunrise photos with my daughter!    To get to see the sunrise from her vantage point in the early morning  …  as she is heading off to her job for the day.

It brings me joy to pray for her during her commute!    And to hold my “Mom umbrella” over her today as she is a tiny grain of “salt” in her place of employment.

Thank you God for November joys!    Thank you God for glorious sunrises!    And for the joy of swapping sunrise photos with my daughter!

And thank you God for the joy of being able to hold my “Mom umbrella” over my daughter as I pray for her today  …  a tiny grain of “salt” for You God.
