Once again, here you can see Cape Disappointment Light … located at the mouth of the Columbia River where it empties into the Pacific Ocean.
As you can see, this lighthouse has endured some rough weather! The relentless salt spray has left the paint chipped and peeling. Yet this light has tenaciously stood firm through wind and rain! This is what love looks like. Love is tenacious!

Love tenaciously stands firm through the storms of life! … regardless of the “salt spray” chipping away at our “paint job.” Love tenacious stands firm through the fierce winds of life! … and through life’s cold driving rains!
Love tenaciously endures – even though it sometimes feels like our love is not noticed … and it sometimes feels like our love is unappreciated.
Love tenaciously endures – even when it’s inconvenient. Have you ever noticed that the times when someone needs our love the most always winds up being when it’s the most inconvenient. But love is tenacious … even when it’s inconvenient.
Love is tenacious – even though it often requires self-sacrifice. Love is rock solid even when there is nothing to be personally gained.
Love tenaciously endures!
