It was just a typical afternoon. I was busy with housework – running the vacuum, getting the laundry caught up, cleaning the kitchen, etc. – when I glanced out the window and saw the little doe who likes to eat my Bunchberry Dogwoods chilling in the backyard.
This scene brought me great joy. It makes me happy that the deer find our home and yard to be a safe place to hang out and rest.
Though … she did reposition herself so she could watch her back! Never know who might be over there at the watering hole!
