Thanksgiving weekend ushers in the Christmas Holiday Season! Cars can now be seen driving down the road with freshly cut Christmas trees tied to the top. Here and there Christmas tree stands are now set up. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
I mentioned in yesterday’s blog post that I was thinking about decorating our little lodgepole pine trees to be our forest “Christmas trees.”
I mentioned this thought to my family … and they made it happen!
Hubby found a small alder branch among the piles in the woodshed, which he then sawed into small “ornament” circles. And on Thanksgiving Day, my family helped me paint ornaments for our lodgepole pine “Christmas trees.” It was great fun!
With Christmas music filling the workshop, we laughed and chatted and had great fun together painting ornaments!
Afterwards, my son even 3-D printed several star-toppers for our little forest Christmas trees! I was delighted!

Last week I needed to stop by Costco … and lo and behold, my quick Costco run resulted in a lot of unexpected items! Holiday Pineapple Cakes! … only available at this time of year! Yay! I definitely needed to pick up some of those! And Hot Coco bombs for someone special!
And Holiday Sparkling fizzy drinks! I don’t even like sparkling-water fizzy drinks … but my son does! So I definitely needed to pick up some to share with him! And some Traeger seasoning for hubby! For no other reason than “I love you.”

Recently, our son had me and hubby over to his house for dinner and hot tubbing … and for dessert he served us the most amazingly delicious Peppermint-Bark ice cream bars! Yay for Holiday Limited Edition items!
Of course I definitely needed to pick up some for hubby and me when I made my Costco run!

Last week my daughter and I enjoyed getting breakfast out together at Chick-fil-A … and Peppermint milkshakes are now available! Whoo Hoo! We definitely needed a Peppermint milkshake with our breakfast! Once again, Yay for Holiday Limited Edition items!
