Curious …

Curious …

My daughter and I were sitting perched on this giant fallen tree, over top of the rushing waters, downstream of Deception Falls.

A little squirrel was curious about us. “Who, exactly, are we?? And what, exactly, are we doing here??”

This calls for a closer inspection.

“Hmmmm. I’m just not sure about you! Do you have anything to offer me??”

“Maybe a different angle will help.”

“You don’t seem like a problem. But I just don’t know. I just don’t know what to think about you.”

Many people are curious about Jesus. “Who, exactly, is Jesus??”

“And what, exactly, was Jesus’s purpose??”

This calls for closer inspection.
So, people study about Jesus.

And just like the little squirrel, they find themselves thinking: “Hmmmm. I’m just not sure about Jesus. Does Jesus have anything to offer me??”

“Maybe a different angle will help.”

In the end, many people sit there (just like the little squirrel) and come to the conclusion: “Jesus doesn’t seem like a problem. But I just don’t know. I just don’t know what to think about Jesus.”

Jesus, himself, stated: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

If you want to cross the bridge from life on this Earth to eternal life in Heaven … Jesus is the one and the only way!

The only bridge to cross the chasm of sin to reach the perfection of God … is Jesus.

Jesus is the only way!
