Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday. All of us are busy with different things planned on Sunday, so my kids decided to celebrate Mother’s Day early. Everyone was free for dinner Monday evening, so that’s what we did.
As a happy coincidence, Monday also happened to be Cinco de Mayo. So, what better way to celebrate an early Mother’s Day than turn it into Cinco de Madre! Clever! I loved it!
My kids provided the fanciest Mexican spread for dinner! My son smoked chicken on his Traeger, with taco seasoning. It was super yummy! We had soft tacos with cilantro-lime rice, and all the toppings! My daughter brought fresh strawberries and fancy Dove chocolate ice cream bars!
It was the greatest Cinco de Madre party ever!
We’ll definitely have to do that again next year!
