Yesterday I was deeply bothered all day as I prayed for our good friends and their daughter who is undergoing brain surgery today.
In the afternoon I stepped outside to toss some wilted flowers onto the compost heap, and on the way there I came across a lizard in the leaves. I stopped and marveled for a bit.
On the way back I came across a bug and a bee on a blossom. I stopped and marveled.
It does something for the soul to marvel at God’s creation.
Matthew 6:30 came to mind and God spoke to my heart: If this is how God cares for His creation, will He not much more care for Emily in brain surgery?
My soul was comforted.
God is good!
I trust Him!
