Hubby and I threshed and winnowed the wheat last night. I had been really looking forward to this part of the process … of watching the chaff blow away in the wind.
The Bible speaks of chaff being blown away in the wind. I was so curious to see this for myself!
We set up a box fan and turned it on the lowest setting; then, as hubby took the threshed wheat out of the Home Depot bucket and slowly dropped it into a big white bowl in front of the fan, the breeze from the box fan indeed did blow the chaff away! It was the coolest thing to see!!
Hubby and I both were in awe how the gentle breeze from the lowest fan setting blew the chaff away! Just like that! It was counterintuitive … because it felt like our wheat was blowing away too. But it wasn’t. The wheat was heavier than the chaff. So the wheat was actually landing in the bowl without being blown away.
It was truly amazing to watch!

(regarding the interpretation of the dream – which was about kingdoms & nations … and Jesus’s ultimate coming Kingdom which will one day fill the whole earth!)

All who have repented of their sin and trusted in Jesus for salvation … these are the wheat.
All who have not repented of their sin and trusted in Jesus for salvation … these are the chaff.
