Today’s blog post is in honor of my daughter.
My daughter went out to coffee with some friends this past Friday. Afterwards, she saved her cup and brought it over to give to me … because she knew I would be delighted! Which I was!
Check it out! The name of the coffee place was Woods Coffee. As a forest lover, I think that is perhaps the best name ever for a coffee place.
And on the back of her cup was this quote: “Every day is a new adventure.” Love it!
My daughter is currently far away, in a distant city … at a very important business event. I am so glad she gave me this cup right before she left. I have it sitting on my kitchen counter where I can think of her constantly and pray for her!
This week for her is a crazy exhausting marathon of highly important tasks! And each new day will undoubtedly present unforeseen challenges! … and drama! Yet through every new “adventure” that arises … I know God is with her! God is with her in every single one of those crazy, complicated, stressful “adventures.”
God is leading her! God is giving her wisdom! God is giving her strength and stamina!
Every day is a new adventure … and through it all, God is there with us each step of the way!
