“Bless His name.” – Psalm 100:4
What does this mean?? Practically speaking, what does it look like to “bless” God’s name??
Here are some insightful words of wisdom from Dr. Thomas White (President of Cedarville University):
“To bless God’s name is to exalt His name with our words, actions, and deeds … so that when people think about God, they think better of God because of the words … and songs … and actions … and service we’re doing … it shows that this God is special! … this God is the only God!!”
Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life … no one can come to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6
“To bless His name is to talk about God in such a way that it raises the affections of all those around us for Him!”
