It can be wearisome to be FAITHFUL!
The Fruit of the Spirit is LOVE.
Honestly, it can be wearisome to LOVE others … FAITHFULLY.
- To LOVE, even though our LOVE goes unnoticed, unappreciated, forgotten.
- To LOVE, even when others are unlovable or downright difficult.
- To LOVE, even when we are empty and have nothing left to give.
It is the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to LOVE FAITHFULLY!
The Fruit of the Spirit is JOY.
Honestly, it can feel impossible to be JOYFUL … ALWAYS.
- To be JOYFUL, even when life feels like it is falling apart.
- To be JOYFUL, in spite of the fears, uncertainties, and the fog of life.
- To be JOYFUL, even though the utter darkness is pressing in all around.
It is the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to be JOYFUL FAITHFULLY!
The Fruit of the Spirit is PEACE.
Honestly, it can feel impossible to be at PEACE … ALWAYS.
- To be at PEACE, when our hearts are heavy and burdened for dear loved ones!
- To be at PEACE, when the only news we ever see or hear is terrible bad news.
- To be at PEACE, when our GOOD is spoken of as evil. When we face hardship and trial.
It is the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to be at PEACE FAITHFULLY!
The Fruit of the Spirit is PATIENCE.
Honestly, it can be wearisome to be PATIENT … FAITHFULLY.
- To be PATIENT, even when others keep pushing our buttons!
- To be PATIENT, even when we get the raw end of the deal.
- To be PATIENT, even when everything is going wrong and our world is falling apart!
It is the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to have PATIENCE FAITHFULLY!
The Fruit of the Spirit is KINDNESS.
Honestly, it can be wearisome to be KIND … FAITHFULLY.
- To be KIND, when everyone everywhere is constantly unkind!
- To be KIND, even when we’ve been unfairly taken advantage of.
- To be KIND, even when we are falsely accused, lied about, or mistreated.
It is the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to be KIND FAITHFULLY!
The Fruit of the Spirit is GOODNESS.
Honestly, it can be wearisome to do what is GOOD … FAITHFULLY.
- To do what is GOOD and RIGHT, even though it is counter cultural.
- To do what is GOOD and RIGHT, even though it costs. There are consequences.
- To do what is GOOD, RIGHT, and TRUE, even though no one else is.
It is the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to do what is GOOD FAITHFULLY!
The work of the Holy Spirit is a mighty, POWERFUL force in our lives!
