The Fruit of the Spirit is GOODNESS.
Yesterday we pondered how that the utter darkness of our world is closing in on us! Yet God has not abandoned us! God has not forsaken us! God is with us … strengthening and encouraging us right here, right now, in the utter darkness which is pressing in all around.
Psalm 23 – “The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely GOODNESS and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

- God develops righteousness in us … so we can shine His LIGHT in this darkness!
- God protects us from evil and darkness!

- God gives us GOOD things … right here in this darkness!
- God blesses us … right here in this darkness!
- God’s GOODNESS and God’s mercy has our back!
Surely GOODNESS and mercy will follow me all the days of my life. God’s GOODNESS goes before us to lead us! God’s GOODNESS protects and surrounds us on the journey! God’s GOODNESS comes behind us to watch our back!
God’s GOODNESS guides our journey through this dark world!
